Q1: What is the syllabus for the posts of Assistant, LDC, UDC, and other civilian positions?
There are two to three types of
tests at the initial stage, commonly referred to as the Initial Test.
These include:
A) Intelligence Test (Verbal & Non-Verbal):
- Verbal Test Topics:
- Series
- Odd one out
- Directions
- Coding/Decoding
- Non-Verbal Test Topics:
- Shapes and patterns
- Find the odd/different shape
- Complete the shape
- Clockwise and anti-clockwise movement of shapes
Note: Candidates must
pass the intelligence test to qualify for the next stages. Failing in this test
will disqualify the candidate from proceeding further.
B) Academic Test:
The academic test includes
multiple-choice questions (MCQs) from the following subjects:
- English Grammar
- Synonyms and Antonyms
- General Knowledge (GK)
- General Mathematics
- Physics
- Computer Basics
C) Personality Test:
This may include situational
judgment or behavioral questions to assess the candidate's personality traits.
After qualifying for the initial
test, a merit list or shortlist will be announced within 35 to 40 days.
Q2: Is there a typing test for the posts of Assistant, UDC, and LDC?
Answer: Yes. Candidates
applying for Assistant, Upper Division Clerk (UDC), and Lower
Division Clerk (LDC) must appear in a typing test, but only if they
are shortlisted. If you are not confident in your typing skills, it is
highly recommended to start practicing now.
